Profile
Drilling System |
|
| |
The Profile Drill is a self-contained detachable
diamond reaming bit that is compatible with industry
standard drilling equipment.
It is used to drill a tapered hole to allow the use
of tapered fixing system. This type of fixing has distinct
advantages over a parallel anchor. |

| The Tool and its Use |
- A parallel hole is first drilled in the normal way.
- The Profile Drill is then used to create the required profile
in the pre-prepared hole. Simple instructions will guide the drilling
operative to quick proficiency.
- Drilling times of as short as 6 seconds for a 100 mm profile
in a 20 mm diameter hole and 10 seconds for a 100 mm profile in
a 50 mm diameter hole in masonry are typical.
- Profiling can be at any depth within the hole so individual
project needs can be catered for.
- The Profile Drill can work across wall cavities and other voids,
allowing profiles to be created where 'other parts could not reach'
- The Profile Drill has been proven in some of the hardest toughest
aggregates found anywhere in the world.
- Considerable scope is available for the design of profiles to
suit your application. You design them, we make them.
- The Profile Drill is simple and robust, therefore dependable
and long lasting.
- Skills necessary are easily learned. Our advice and full support
on tap.
- The Cutters utilise the latest diamond segment technology from
leading world-wide suppliers. The cutters are long lasting and
re-tipping is easily and quickly carried out with a single spanner
and a simple service kit.
- Hundreds of Pull Out tests have been carried out. In each and
every case the test load applied has exceeded the strength of
the base material, be it reinforced concrete, masonry or stone,
or the metal of the anchor itself.
